Can I use Velome for multiple countries in one trip?

Absolutely. If you’re hopping between countries (say, France → Italy → Germany), your Velome regional eSIM automatically switches between partner networks, the best local network without any extra setup.

How do I use/activate my Velome eSIM?

After purchase, you’ll get a QR code via email. Scan it on your phone, follow the steps, and your eSIM is ready. Make sure to turn on Data Roaming in your phone settings.

Can I get a refund if the eSIM doesn’t work?

You can request a refund within 60 days if the eSIM doesn’t work even after trying to fix it. But once it’s installed and working, refunds aren’t available except for technical issues caused by Velome.

Can I make calls or just use data?

Velome eSIM mainly provides unlimited data for internet use. You can make calls using WhatsApp, FaceTime, or other internet-based apps, but it does not provide regular voice calls.

Is Velome safe and secure to use?

Yes! Velome follows strict security standards. Your personal data and payment info are safe, and your eSIM connection is private and reliable.

Can I make calls or send SMS with Velome eSIM?

No traditional calls or SMS are included. But you can use apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, or Messenger to call or chat online.

Can I run multiple eSIMs on one phone?

It depends on your phone. Many modern devices allow one active eSIM at a time, plus a physical SIM. Some newer iPhones, Samsung, Google Pixel, and Motorola phones support dual active eSIMs.

Can the same QR code be used on multiple devices?

No. Each QR code works once per device. If you want another device, you’ll need a new eSIM. Velome often offers discounts for multiple eSIMs.

Will my physical SIM still work?

Yes! Your physical SIM stays active, so you can use it alongside the Velome eSIM without issues.

When does my eSIM plan start?

Your plan starts when you first connect to a local network after activation. You can activate it before your flight or after landing, but you need an internet connection to complete the setup.

What if I lose my phone? Can I move my eSIM?

Velome eSIMs are linked to the device they’re installed on. If you lose your phone, contact Velome support — they may issue a new eSIM on a case-by-case basis. The eSIM on your lost device cannot be transferred, but our team can issue a replacement if needed.
